“Give Wildlife A BRAKE” Roadkill Reduction Campaign

Government statistics indicate that over one million animals a day are killed and maimed on US roadways each year. We see the carnage first hand, since many of the animals we care for are a direct or indirect result of an animal-car collision.

“Give Wildlife a Brake!” is a program intended to increase the awareness of motorists, stressing that defensive driving can benefit people as well as the animals crossing the road.
